Spielberg is Cheap

Employees at public relations firm Star Group are complaining that director Steven Spielberg is cheap. The firm were forced to work at a cut rate for his pet charity, the USC Shoah Foundation Institute.
After Schindler's List,Spielberg started the Shoah foundation to record first hand accounts of survivors of the concentration camps. This year, the dinner is in Philadelphia and the honoree is Brian Roberts, CEO from Comcast. For one month starting April 25, Comcast through its On Demand service and Infinity is offering for free ten films from the Institute.
Star was awarded the job because they handle the Museum of American Jewish History.
Don't you hate when billionaires begrudge us working stiffs a decent wage?

Lurie MIA

I do not follow sports, but wanted to report that Eagles Jeffrey Lurie did not accompany his lovely wife Christian to the Stepping Stone gala at the Philadelphia Art Museum. I was told he was out of town. I do not know if there is a secret meeting of the NFL owners.
A friend of Lurie's, who regularly goes to games with him, told me that there will be a NFL season next year, but it might be shortened. He predicts that they will settle in July.

Thank the Seals

Since Navy Seals killed Osama Bid Laden, the mastermind of the bombings of the two World Trade Centers and USS Cole, the best way to commemorate Osama bin Laden's death and the Seals'heroics is to donate to the Navy Seal Foundation. These heroes risked their lives to make the world a safer place for all of us.
